When did you start at S-NET and what is your background?
After various technical support positions at companies such as Atos, Dell and JP Morgan Chase, I joined S-NET’s Manila Team in October 2014.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. IT was booming in the Philippines when I finished my secondary studies. Many multinational businesses were opening offices in Manila, so I saw working in technology as a profitable career with great opportunities for advancement and growth.
What are your primary responsibilities at S-NET?
At S-NET, I have an operations-focused role. I coordinate with various vendors, track our purchase orders and manage S-NET’s phone number inventory. I also assist the Sales and Project Management teams with creating proposals and purchase orders, as well as keeping all our various internal portals up to date.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy the family atmosphere and the energy that I get from the people I work with. I like to make every day positive and happy and my S-NET family contributes to that with their care and support.
What have been your favorite S-NET projects so far?
I will always remember the first project I managed, onboarding one of our consulting services clients. I enjoyed everything from the kick-off meeting and gathering information to explaining the features of our phone system, ordering hardware and coordinating with field technicians.
I also enjoy training our internal team in using the Sales Portal.
Are there any accomplishments you are particularly proud of?
It is difficult to name a specific project as there have been so many. But being with S-NET for nearly 5 years definitely fills me with a sense of pride. S-NET helped me build trust in myself and conquer my fears of transitioning from an agent position into a management role. My goal is to outdo my best every day.
Are there any exciting projects you look forward to?
While it’s difficult to single out any one of the many we have in the works, I really like working on projects that make everyone’s work easier and more efficient.
How do you like to spend your free time?
After work, I enjoy eating out and grabbing a cup of coffee with friends. When I have more time on my hands, I like reading, watching movies, binge-watching television series and cooking.
I love traveling and weekend getaways too. Last month I visited Hong Kong for the first time and I loved it. I would definitely like to travel more abroad.
